Unfortunately, when we got back yesterday, Bo (@Alleng56) discovered that eToro had axed him from the Popular Investor programme as well! Sheesh! They must REALLY have it in for us! This is the second time this has happened so perhaps there is something about our trading style that they do not welcome. I know that they are always pushing stocks and cryptos but, I would have never imagined that they wouldn't want traders that ONLY traded positive swap currencies. My dear friend @Robroyman said this exact thing and I laughed it off. Perhaps he was right!
Anyway, I am going to keep MY account open until every single person copying me is well in profit. My hubby, @Alleng56, is going to continually keep his account going though. He thinks that if enough people voice that they want to copy him over time, that they will have no choice but to allow him to be a PI. I have my doubts but, he is adamant. I, in the meantime, will be looking to focus on getting back into Darwinex. There are just a few things that I need to make sure of regarding their system before I deposit with them. Now, I was only tinkering around on their platform before and once I was accepted as a PI on eToro, I looked at getting out with minimal profit to focus purely on eToro. I had deposited exactly £10,000 initially and when I made my withdrawal I withdrew £10,157.86. The thing that troubles me is that if you look at my stats on Darwinex ( https://www.darwinex.com/darwin/HGF.4.18/ ), you will elude that I left on a negative of -0.19%.
Now, that is NOT the case! I made money on my withdrawal, even if it was ONLY from interest payments. So, what I need to make sure of is that Darwinex allows positive swap interest to be transferred to people copying me on that platform. If folks are NOT beneficiaries of the positive swap interest, then I will not even waste me time with Darwinex. THAT is the cornerstone of my strategy! I shall certainly keep you all informed regardless.
Now, we had a really bad few days while I was away. I truly hope none of you have been spooked by that. I will CONSTANTLY manage my positions, I assure you all! We certainly will not lose, I can assure you that as well. Today seems to be looking a bit better but, there is indeed a lot of REALLY weird shit going on within the markets these days. I don't know if you have been looking at many of the most popular PIs on eToro but, they are all doing it tough as well. You can be relieved knowing that I do not stack trades when things are going against me and I am hedged, if only a quasi-hedge. It will work and it will most certainly hold.
